Taliban Brags That The Biden Administration Will Deliver Aid to Afghanistan!!!

The Taliban terrorist group announced on Sunday that the Obama administration has agreed to give humanitarian help to Afghanistan's newly established Islamic Emirate.

The announcement came after the first direct conversations between the former rivals since the haphazard pullout of US soldiers at the end of August, according to the Associated Press (AP).

According to the Associated Press, the Taliban expressed satisfaction with the Doha, Qatar negotiations, claiming that the exchanges "went well," with Washington promising not to tie humanitarian help to formal recognition of the Taliban.

The US made it plain that the negotiations were not a prelude to recognition of the Islamic terrorist group, which surged to power on Aug. 15 when the US-backed government fell apart.

Even as internal bloodshed continues to wrack the country, State Department spokesman Ned Price described the talks as "frank and professional," with the US side stressing that the Taliban will be assessed on their deeds, not just their words.

"The US delegation focused on security and terrorism concerns, as well as safe passage for U.S. citizens, other foreign nationals, and our Afghan partners," he said in a statement. "The US delegation also focused on human rights, including the meaningful participation of women and girls in all aspects of Afghan society."

Suhail Shaheen, a Taliban political spokesman, also told the Associated Press that the Taliban's interim foreign minister promised the US during the negotiations that the Taliban are dedicated to ensuring that extremists do not use Afghan land to launch attacks against other nations.

Bill Roggio, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies who studies militant groups, advised caution when working with such a group.

The Taliban "worked for 20 years to evict the United States, and the last thing it needs now is for the United States to return." It also doesn't require assistance from the United States," said Roggio, who also edits the foundation's Long War Journal.

"The Taliban must carry out the tough and time-consuming task of eliminating ISKP cells and infrastructure. It has all of the necessary information and tools."

According to Breitbart News, the news of the deal for US aid to Afghanistan came just two days after Russia summoned Taliban representatives to a meeting in Moscow on October 20 alongside representatives from China, India, Iran, and Pakistan to examine the country's geopolitical position.

In addition to the Taliban, “many other Afghan parties” will also be invited to the talks.

While most foreign embassies in Kabul were evacuated after the Taliban took control of the capital on August 15, Russia refused to do so. Dmitry Zhirnov, Russia's envoy to Afghanistan, met with the Taliban shortly after the Taliban ousted Kabul's US-backed government.
